PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Elcontrol FSM86 will provide automatic sequencing control of all types of large industrial and commercial gas burners. A synchronous-motor driven cam timer provides precise sequencing of purge and combustion air, ignition, and flame stabilisation periods. Successful main flame establishment leads to the burner being released to fully proportional or high-low-off modulation. The unit is designed to operate from a 240V or 110V AC 50Hz supply, selected by internal links. Interrupted pilot, intermittent pilot or direct ignition of the main flame may be selected. The FSM86 will operate with up to two flame scanners, ionisation probes or a combination of types. With a suitable external interface unit, up to four flame detectors may be interfaced to the FSM86.

  • Plug-in flame amplifier cards are available for use with fully self-checking ultra-violet scanners, ionisation probes, or non self-checking UV detection.
  • One or two flame detectors may be utilised with the standard FSM86, increasing to four if the external interface (type SPL180) is employed.
  • Flame strength metering facilities are available with certain amplifier types.
  • Remote electrical reset as standard.
  • Field connections are to open plan 5mm terminals.
  • Field equipment may be operated at a voltage which differs from the primary supply voltage.
  • Field interlocks are supplied from a low voltage source and are completely isolated from the field outputs.
